Luna gives you a prepaid balance and payment cards that spend from it. The cards are issued by a licensed card issuer under its own cardholder agreement, which you accept when you issue a card. Luna keeps your balance, shows your payments and lets you manage your cards.
Accounts are opened by invitation only. You must be at least 18 and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password and your signed-in devices private. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to your account.
Your balance is money you have transferred to us, less our fees. A top-up is credited after we confirm the transfer arrived. Cards can only spend what is on the balance: when it reaches zero, your cards are paused until you top up. A payment confirmed by the card network after the balance ran out may take it below zero; you agree to top up to cover it.
Fees follow the pricing plan assigned to your account. The top-up fee is taken from the amount you send before it is credited. Fees charged by the card issuer for a payment, such as currency conversion, are passed on to your balance and shown with the payment.
Cards may be used only for lawful purchases. Cash withdrawals are not enabled. We may freeze a card or an account if we suspect misuse or fraud, if the issuer or the law requires it, or if the balance is empty. You can freeze and close your own cards at any time.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support; any remaining balance is returned to you less fees owed. We may change these terms with notice by email or in the app. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for losses caused by a merchant, by the card network, by events outside our control, or by your failure to keep your access private. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
